A Postscript for Research on Black Women: New Populations, New DirectionsRoosevelt University This postscript challenges researchers to address the fundamental question, how do we define Black women? Changes in various aspects of Blacknessthe Black family, the Black community, the Black experienceare highlighted. Taking into consideration these changes, clarification of how the intersection of gender and ethnicity together with other markers of status operate in the lives of Black women is stressed.
